 A famous photographer once said , “If you want to take better p
 ictures, stand in front of more interesting stuff”. Great advic
 e coming from a guy who probably gets paid to travel to exotic places
  and take pictures. What about those of us who spend a lot of time in
  our own neighborhoods? Well, the truth is that there’s lots of
  “interesting stuff” lying around everywhere waiting for 
 someone to stand in front of it. This program is about how to see tha
 t stuff and make great pictures out of it. The program will cover thi
 ngs like composition and camera controls, lenses and filters, but mos
 tly it’s about how to develop your photographer’s eye and
  find inspiration and “interesting stuff” wherever you lo
 ok.\n

 About John Tunney\n
 \n
 John Tunney is a Cape Cod-based fine-art photographer and photography
  instructor. A frequent exhibitor in art shows and festivals, his awa
 rd-winning work has been featured in a solo exhibition at the Griffin
  Museum of Photography, Winchester, MA, and in many solo and group sh
 ows in galleries and other exhibition centers. He is the author of th
 e photography book, The Four Seasons of Cape Cod, and his images have
  appeared in books, magazine and newspapers, including Wall Street Jo
 urnal, Fodor's, The Guardian and others. As a photography educator, h
 e's been a speaker and instructor for many years, leading classes, wo
 rkshops and tours on Cape Cod, Maine, Iceland and other areas.\n
